A dot-to-dot typeface designed for large format street posters, which are accessible to the public. Linking the numbers together correctly is irrelevant. The aim is to encourage interaction through participants forming their own message or adding to another’s, while the letterforms remain a puzzle to those who enjoy a challenge. The type is intentionally non-geometric so as to be less predictable.
At the FIRE! FIRE! exhibition in Adelaide, March 2007, an interactive wallpaper was created from the typeface using 8 different posters. Pens were provided but no instructions were given, curious visitors from ages 6 to 67 responded.
